Verse of the Day

This verse is a strong and loving encouragement to remain steady in faith. Paul calls believers “beloved,” reminding us that perseverance flows from relationship and assurance. To be steadfast and unmovable does not mean we never feel pressure or difficulty; it means we remain anchored in Christ despite them. Life may bring shifting opinions, challenges, and discouragement, but our foundation in the Lord remains firm.

The promise at the end of the verse gives powerful motivation: your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Every act of service, every quiet prayer, every faithful step of obedience matters. Even when results are unseen or delayed, God sees and values what is done for Him. Nothing offered in faith is wasted. This assurance strengthens us to keep abounding—to keep serving, loving, and trusting with confidence.

Prayer

Faithful God, thank You that my labour in You is never in vain. When I feel tired or discouraged, help me remain steadfast and unmovable in my faith. Strengthen my heart to continue serving You with joy and dedication. Remind me that You see every effort and that Your purposes are unfolding even when I cannot see them. Keep me rooted in Christ and abounding in Your work each day. Amen.
