Verse of the Day

These words from Paul the Apostle offer a simple but powerful instruction for daily living. Instead of carrying anxiety, we are invited to replace worry with prayer.

Don’t worry about anything” may seem difficult, especially in times of uncertainty. But Paul doesn’t stop there—he gives the solution: pray about everything. Nothing is too small or too big to bring before God. Every concern, every need, every fear can be laid at His feet.

This verse also emphasizes gratitude. Even while asking God for help, we are encouraged to thank Him for what He has already done. Gratitude shifts our focus from fear to faith and reminds us of God’s past faithfulness.

When we live this way—praying consistently and giving thanks—our hearts begin to experience peace that goes beyond understanding (as the next verse promises). It becomes a lifestyle of trust, not anxiety.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I choose today to bring everything to You in prayer. Help me to release every worry and replace it with trust in You.

Teach me to talk to You about every part of my life and to remember Your goodness with a thankful heart. Strengthen my faith so that anxiety does not control me.

Fill me with Your peace as I depend on You daily. In Jesus' name, Amen.
