Verse of the Day

Through the prophet Isaiah, God speaks words of deep reassurance to His people. This verse is filled with divine promises for moments of fear, weakness, and uncertainty.

First, God says: “Do not fear, for I am with you.”

The answer to fear is not merely courage—it is the presence of God. Knowing that God is with you changes how you face challenges.

Then He says: “Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”

To be dismayed means to lose heart or become overwhelmed. God reminds us that we belong to Him, and He remains in control even when life feels unstable.

The verse continues with three powerful promises:

  • “I will strengthen you” — God gives inner strength when you feel weak.
  • “I will help you” — You are not left alone to fight your battles.
  • “I will uphold you” — God sustains and keeps you from falling.

This verse is a reminder that believers are not called to depend solely on their own strength. God Himself becomes their support, help, and security.

Prayer

Heavenly Father

Thank You for Your promise to be with me always. When fear and uncertainty arise, help me to remember that You are my God and my helper.

Strengthen me in every area where I feel weak. Uphold me with Your righteous hand and give me courage to move forward in faith.

Let Your presence fill my heart with peace and confidence today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
