What You Have Is Enough in God’s Hands

Peter did not have silver or gold to give the lame man at the temple gate. Yet Peter possessed something far more valuable—the authority and power of the name of Jesus.

This verse reminds us that God can use what we have, even when we feel that what we have is materially insufficient. We may not have money, influence, connections, or all the answers, but if we have Christ, we have something of eternal value.

Peter did not simply tell the man to endure his condition. He spoke faith into his situation: “Rise up and walk.” The power was not in Peter himself; it was in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

There may be situations in your life today that appear impossible to change. But never underestimate what God can accomplish through faith and obedience. What seems small in your hands can become a powerful instrument in God's hands.

You may not have everything, but you have Jesus—and Jesus is enough.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the power and authority that are found in the name of Jesus Christ. Help me to recognize that what I have in You is greater than what I lack in this world.

When I feel inadequate, remind me that You can work through me. Give me boldness like Peter to speak words of faith, hope, healing, encouragement, and restoration to those around me.

Lord, speak into every area of my life that has been stagnant and command it to rise and walk. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is limitation, bring breakthrough. Where there is despair, bring hope.

May my life become a vessel through which others encounter the power and love of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
