The United States Department of State has officially announced a bounty of up to $10 million for information leading to the identification or location of Iran’s top leadership figures. This significant financial incentive, managed through the Rewards for Justice program, specifically targets the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, alongside several high-ranking members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian security apparatus.

In an official statement released by the State Department, officials confirmed that the bounty is paired with a rare offer of "potential relocation to the United States" for individuals who provide high-value, actionable intelligence that disrupts the regime’s command structure.

Among those named in the updated "wanted" list are Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani and Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib. The U.S. government has characterised these individuals as pivotal actors in directing regional instability and state-sponsored maritime disruptions. "The IRGC’s leadership continues to coordinate activities that threaten global commerce and the safety of our allies," a State Department spokesperson noted during a Friday press briefing.

President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters earlier this week, reiterated his administration’s stance, stating that the U.S. would use every tool available to "neutralise the threats posed by the terrorist regime in Tehran."

To ensure the safety of potential informants, the Rewards for Justice program has established secure, encrypted communication channels through Signal and Tor-based platforms. The department emphasised that all tips will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality. This move follows a series of targeted military strikes in late February that significantly degraded Iran’s traditional military infrastructure, leaving the current leadership in a state of transition.
