Arsenal Football Club officially concluded their triumphant 2025–26 campaign today by lifting the Premier League trophy at Selhurst Park. The Gunners secured a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, capping a season that saw them finish seven points clear at the top of the table.

Mikel Arteta’s side had already mathematically clinched their first English league title since the 2003–04 season last Tuesday, following a draw between Manchester City and AFC Bournemouth. Sunday’s performance served as a celebratory victory lap, with goals from Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke ensuring the team finished the campaign with 26 wins from 38 matches.

Following the final whistle, captain Martin Odegaard hoisted the silverware as red confetti and fireworks filled the air. In scenes of jubilation, players tossed manager Mikel Arteta into the air while thousands of traveling supporters celebrated in the stands. Club owner Stan Kroenke and his son, Josh, were also present to witness the historic coronation.

The conclusion of the season also brought heartbreak for West Ham United, who suffered relegation to the Championship despite a 3-0 victory against Leeds United on the final day, as other results left them in the bottom three. Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers joined the Hammers in exiting the top flight.

Reflecting on the achievement, the club’s success marks a significant turnaround in their recent history. Having finished the season with 85 points, the Gunners successfully fended off a late-season charge from Manchester City, who finished in second place with 78 points.

The 2025–26 season will be remembered as the year Arsenal reclaimed their position at the summit of English football, ending a wait that spanned over two decades.
