Verse of the Day

This verse reveals a powerful connection between knowing God and trusting God.

The psalm does not simply say that people who have heard of God trust Him. It says that those who know His name trust Him. In Scripture, God's name represents His character—His faithfulness, mercy, power, holiness, and love. The more we know who God truly is, the easier it becomes to trust Him in every circumstance.

The second part of the verse contains a wonderful promise: “You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You.” Throughout history, God has proven Himself faithful to those who earnestly pursue Him. He may not always answer in the way or timing we expect, but He never abandons His people.

If you are facing uncertainty today, let this verse strengthen your heart. God’s past faithfulness is evidence of His present faithfulness. The God who sustained you before will sustain you again.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being faithful and trustworthy. Help me to know You more deeply so that my trust in You grows stronger each day.

When challenges arise, remind me that You have never forsaken those who seek You. Strengthen my faith through the Holy Spirit and help me rely on Your promises rather than my fears.

Let my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness. May I continually seek You with all my heart and find confidence in Your unfailing love.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
