Nigeria Customs Service Opens 2025 Recruitment for 3,927 Officer Positions

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has commenced its recruitment for 2025, inviting applications for 3,927 officer positions across three main cadres: Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant. 

1. Superintendent Cadre: Requires a university degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) and a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.

2. Inspector Cadre: Requires a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).

3. Customs Assistant Cadre: Requires at least O'Level qualifications (WAEC or NECO).

Interested candidates can apply through the official NCS recruitment portal. The application process is entirely free; the NCS has warned against scams and emphasizes that no fees should be paid at any stage of the recruitment process.

The application window opened on December 27, 2024, and will close on January 2, 2025. 

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens, have completed their primary education, and meet specific height requirements: a minimum of 1.7 meters for males and 1.64 meters for females. 

This recruitment drive is part of NCS's efforts to bolster trade facilitation and support Nigeria's economic recovery initiatives, following recent government budget proposals aimed at enhancing revenue generation.
