Verse of the Day

Waiting is one of the hardest disciplines of faith. We often want quick answers, immediate clarity, and visible progress. Yet this verse calls us to wait on the Lord—not passively, but with expectation and trust. Waiting on God means believing that He is working even when we cannot see movement. It is choosing patience over panic and faith over frustration.

The command to “be of good courage” shows that waiting requires bravery. It takes courage to trust God’s timing when ours feels delayed. But the promise is sure: He shall strengthen thine heart. As we wait, God does not leave us weak or uncertain. He builds endurance, deepens our trust, and steadies our spirit. The waiting season itself becomes a place where God shapes and fortifies us.

Prayer

Lord, teach me how to wait on You with faith and courage. When I grow impatient or discouraged, strengthen my heart and remind me that Your timing is perfect. Help me to trust that You are working behind the scenes for my good. Fill me with endurance, peace, and confidence as I rest in Your promises. I choose to wait on You today, believing You will renew my strength. In Jesus' name, Amen.
