Verse of the Day

This verse, written by David, speaks directly to moments of frustration, comparison, and impatience.

To be still before the Lord means to pause inwardly—letting go of anxiety, control, and emotional pressure. It is a call to trust God’s timing instead of reacting out of worry or comparison.

The verse also addresses a common struggle: seeing others succeed unfairly or quickly while you are still waiting. God’s instruction is clear—do not fret. In other words, don’t let their progress steal your peace or push you into anxiety or compromise.

Waiting on God is not wasted time. It is a season where God is working behind the scenes, shaping outcomes and preparing your breakthrough. His timing is always wiser than human timing.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Teach me to be still before You and to trust Your perfect timing. Calm every anxious thought in my heart.

Help me not to compare my journey with others or be troubled by what I see around me. Strengthen my faith to wait patiently for You.

Let my heart remain peaceful and focused on Your will. I trust that You are working all things for my good.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
